Leading Hand/Carpenter position with Autumn Group. The role involves supervising apprentices and other carpenters while performing a wide range of carpentry work across high end residential projects.
Key responsibilities
Instruct and supervise apprentices and other carpenters
Manage subcontractors and check their work
Manage inspections
Site set-up including hoardings, floor protection and drop sheets
Demolition and strip out
Wall and floor framing
Roof framing and roof truss installation
Installing windows, doors, doorframes and associated components
Lock up carpentry including sisalation, battens, cladding, fascia, eaves and bargeboards
Ensure site is kept clean, protected and tidy
About you
Able to understand and work off plans and specifications
White card




Own suitable vehicle and tools
Enjoy working in teams
Report to Site Supervisor or Project Manager
Follow company policies
Willing travel when required
