About the Region
The South BurnettRegion is ideally situated just 2 - 3 hours' drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast. About the role
Based in Nanango
Permanent Full Time
$108K - $114K per annum + Allowances + Super
Council is seeking an experienced project manager to coordinate and manage projects and programmes within the Works portfolio, including major streetscaping, urban and rural civil projects, water infrastructure and recreational facilities. The role will deliver multiple civil works projects simultaneously in accordance with Council's project management framework across a growing region. The successful applicant will have 5-15 years' experience in a civil engineers/project managers role with a background in local government, utilities, or private sector infrastructure.

Mandatory Qualifications
Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver's licence.
General Safety Induction for Construction Worker Certification - White Card.
Minimum requirement of Diploma in Project Management.
Certificate IV in Civil Construction and Supervision.
Degree Qualifications in Engineering and Project Management (Desirable)

Skills and experience
Please address the following key selection criteria items below, as part of your application
Demonstrated relevant project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously including the scoping, planning and efficient utilisation of resources.
Proven success in the delivery of efficient and timely municipal road construction and maintenance projects in accordance with industry standards.
Well-developed oral and communication skills including a high level of attention to detail and research skills.
Sound level of computer skills including knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Corporate Software Systems.
Excellent time management skills to achieve proficiency and effectiveness in establishing and managing work priorities and meeting deadlines.
