Salary: $120-$140/ hour depending on experience. Plus travel (time and km reimbursement)

Location: mobile role across Melbourne Metropolitan (Specific location as desired by the therapist!)

Schedule: up to 2 (or more) ongoing days of your choosing!

Key Responsibilities: n
n
Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualised behaviour support plans
n
Implement positive behaviour support strategies to help clients manage their behaviour and improve their quality of life
n
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including support workers, families, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to client care
n
Provide training and mentoring to support workers on effective behaviour management techniques
n
Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adapting support plans as needed
n
Maintain detailed case notes and contribute to the development of client documentation
n
Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities
n
Requirements: n
n
* Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
n
* 2 years experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Desirable but not necessary)
n
* NDIS Registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core level minimum)
n
* Experience working in the NDIS sector (Desirable but not necessary)
n
* Current Working with children check
n
* Current CPR
n
* Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
n
* NDIS workers screening check (or willing to obtain)
n
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
