We are currently seeking
2-3 experienced Warehouse Assistants
for a short-term assignment, expected to run for approximately
1-2 months
.
This is a hands-on warehouse position suited to reliable, safety-focused people with previous warehousing experience and a current forklift licence.
The Role
Working as part of the warehouse team, your responsibilities will include:
Receiving incoming goods, checking deliveries against documentation and correctly storing stock
Packaging, preparing and loading goods for dispatch
Completing goods receival, dispatch and consignment paperwork
Operating forklifts for loading, unloading and movement of warehouse materials
Conducting rolling stocktakes and assisting with inventory management
Cleaning, inspecting and measuring pipe and related components in accordance with QA/QC procedures
Maintaining warehouse equipment and completing pre-start checks
Keeping warehouse and work areas clean,
organised and free from hazards
Completing local deliveries and pickups from customers and suppliers
Assisting with basic assembly of tools and recording parts used
Following all site safety, quality and company procedures
To be considered, you must have:
Current Driver's Licence
Current Forklift Licence / High Risk Work Licence (LF)
Previous warehouse or stores experience
Previous forklift operating experience
Good attention to detail and inventory accuracy
Ability to safely load, unload and secure goods
Good communication skills
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliability and availability for the full
1-2 month assignment
