The Team & Role
The Grade 1 or 2 Physiotherapist is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, providing safe, personal, effective and connected Physiotherapy services to Peninsula Health clients across a range of settings, including acute, subacute and community services. Service delivery is determined by demand and undertaken with consideration to the individual Physiotherapist's scope of practice. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team,



building and expanding professional skills to ensure clients receive the best possible service reflecting up-to-date evidence-based practice, demonstrating positive workplace behaviours and relationships at all times, and working within scope of practice.
This position is part of the casual physiotherapy pool and offers weekday casual shifts across Peninsula Care Group sites and settings. Shifts are matched to experience and may include inpatient acute and subacute services, outpatient services, community programs, and home-based care options.
Skills & Experience Required
Current registration with AHPRA as a physiotherapist
Demonstrated ability to competently perform high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and patient management, including thorough and appropriate discharge planning
Commitment to physiotherapy practise in an appropriate and professional manner
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability and experience working within a multidisciplinary team
Previous experience working across subacute and acute inpatient, and community (including home based) settings (Desirable)
