LABOURLENS PTY LTD LabourLens is recruiting on behalf of Ignite Healthcare Pty Ltd for a skilled and motivated Human Resource Adviser to join its growing team on a full-time basis. Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents will be preferred. The Human Resource Adviser will provide comprehensive human resource advisory and administrative support across the organisation, working closely with management, team leaders and employees to support recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management and the implementation of effective HR policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will play an key role in supporting Ignite Healthcare's multidisciplinary allied health workforce and ensuring HR practices remain consistent with organisational requirements, applicable employment legislation, awards and workplace policies. Benefits Competitive salary of plus superannuation. Permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week.

Task & responsibilities Partner with managers and the senior leadership team to provide coaching and advice on workforce planning, HR policies, employment conditions and staff performance.




Coordinate recruitment and selection activities, including preparing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and providing applicants with information about employment conditions. Manage employee onboarding and induction, explain workplace policies and development opportunities, and maintain accurate personnel records and HR information systems. Support fortnightly payroll processing, check employee information and pay adjustments, resolve payroll queries, and apply relevant legislation, awards and employment agreements.
Design and coordinate learning and development initiatives to address staff training needs and support employee performance and career development. Organise employee engagement activities and manage the Colleague Experience Survey, using feedback to support workplace consultation and improvements. Review and update HR policies and procedures to reflect employment and workplace safety requirements, identifying and addressing risks across HR processes and systems.
Advise managers on employee relations, performance management and disciplinary matters, and coordinate fair and confidential workplace investigations. Support negotiations about employment terms and conditions, assist in resolving grievances and disputes, and contribute to employment agreement reviews where required. Provide confidential and empathetic support to employees on workplace concerns, wellbeing and performance, encouraging open communication and constructive resolution.
Qualification & experience




Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business with an HR specialisation, or a related discipline; alternatively, at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. At least one year of relevant experience in human resources or a closely related role. Practical experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee records and HR administration.
Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and workplace relations practices. Ability to provide explicit advice on HR policies and handle employee concerns professionally. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information. Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office. Experience in healthcare, allied health or community services is desirable.
