Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
n
Base salary range: $120,912 - $132,161 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the arean
The role of Finance is to support the appropriate stewardship of the University's finance through the provision of a strategic financial and commercial advice, establishment of a financial management framework, financial management tools, procurement, management of the University's Investment and Endowment portfolio, as well as financial oversight and accountability for finance administrative and transactional operations.
n
Finance undertakes this role through four core pillars: Financial Compliance, Financial Performance, Treasury & Investment and Procurement.
n
In undertaking this role, Finance operates support across the University, from advising the Vice-Chancellery, Executive and Senior leadership team on strategy and performance to supporting staff and students in their purchases and travel arrangements.
About the opportunityn
n
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities for the University's infrastructure and capital portfolio, providing trusted advice to senior stakeholders and project leaders.
n
Deliver advanced financial modelling, business case analysis, capital investment planning and risk mitigation strategies that support informed decision-making and long-term financial sustainability.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting, performance management and capital project governance while building strong partnerships across the University community.

About youn
n
Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency in
Capital/Infrastructure
Accounting.
n
Full professional membership of a recognised Australian, or International accounting body.
n
Substantial and extensive experience in financial capital and infrastructure planning for large organisations with multiple funding arrangements.
n
Demonstrated experience and expertise in coordinating, preparing and monitoring complex consolidated budgets, forecasting and income/expenditure management.
n
Demonstrated experience in financial modelling.
n
