The Opportunity n
Our client is a well-established Australian export meat processor with a growing operation in the Bass Coast / South Gippsland region. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll lead the warehouse and dispatch team on shift, making sure product is loaded safely, accurately and on time. This role suits a hands‐on leader who likes structure, a busy pace and developing their people.
What you will be doing n
n
Plan and coordinate daily manning to meet load schedules
n
Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team
n
Drive DIFOT, stock control and waste reduction
n
Keep throughput and load schedules on track and elevate delays
n
Organise leave cover and cross‐training
n
Deliver accurate shift reports and handovers
n
Support performance and conduct conversations with Warehouse Management
n
Uphold WHS, food safety and Department of Agriculture requirements
n




Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Engineering
n
What you will bring n
n
Supervisor or team leader experience in warehousing, dispatch or production
n
Food, meat, dairy or cold chain background highly regarded
n
Solid working knowledge of WHS requirements
n
Confident using Microsoft Office and producing shift reporting
n
Clear communicator who enjoys coaching others
n
Results driven with a continuous improvement mindset
n
