About the role: n
In this key role, you will help plan and develop a diverse rangeof infrastructure projects - from roads, paths and drainagenetworks to coastal infrastructure, car parks, bridges and publictransport facilities.
What you'll be doing: n
n
Investigating and refining project scope
requirements,developing
project documentation and cost estimates.
n
Managing consultants undertaking studies andinvestigations.
n
Supporting grant funding applications and project businesscases.
n
Coordinating stakeholder consultation and
engagementactivities.
n
Assisting with statutory approvals and agencyclearances.
n
Contributing to the City's Capital Works Program and annualbudgeting processes.
n
Responding to infrastructure-related customerenquiries.
n
Collaborating with the design and survey team on requiredworks.
n
What you'll bring to the role: n
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Qualifications or subsequent experience in civilengineering, project management, or a related discipline.
n
Experience in municipal engineering, asset planning orproject management.
n
Knowledge of roads, footpaths, drainage networks and
publicinfrastructure
assets.
n
Sound understanding of workplace health and
safetyrequirements.
n
Desirable but not essential - Experience using a range ofsoftware such as
AutoCAD, MicroStation
,
QGIS
.
n
