The Opportunity

We're seeking experienced
Drill Fitters
to join our team, with FIFO opportunities available for candidates based in
Rockhampton
.
n
You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing underground mining equipment while helping ensure equipment remains secure, reliable and available for operation.
What You'll Do
n
n
Conduct diagnostics and inspections on diesel engines and related systems.
n
Perform repairs and maintenance on fuel, cooling, exhaust and electrical systems.
n
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
n
Complete routine and preventative maintenance.
n
Maintain accurate records of completed work.
n
Prioritise safety and maintain an organised and efficient workspace.
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Trade qualification as a
Diesel Fitter / Heavy Duty Mechanic
.
n
Previous experience on
mine sites
.
n
Experience maintaining and repairing underground mining equipment.
n
Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills.
n
Commitment to safe, high-quality and reliable work.
n
Proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
n
Willingness to undergo a
Pre-Employment Medical
upon hire.
n
