About the programmes
n
The ITM Model aims to provide short-term care (up to 3 months) in a one-on-one setting for children that is holistic, individualized, and takes a team-based approach to the complex impacts of abuse, neglect, separation from families and significant others along with other vulnerabilities.
n
The ITM Model supports children aged from newborn to 17years in suitable secure and secure, home-like environments while foster care, kinship relative care or other placement options are identified.
About the role
n




We are currently seeking permanent part-time staff and a pool of casual staff who will initially provide care support and guidance for children and young person in line with the ICM.
n
The successful candidate will be part of a team that will be on a largely weekend rotating roster. Hours of work are flexible and may include some sleep overs
Essential skills/knowledge
n
Completed or working towards Cert IV in youth work or similar field
n
Prepared to work flexible working hours including, weekends and sleep overs
n
Current unrestricted driver's licence
n
Current First Aid Certificate
n
Current Working with Children's Check
n
Experience in Out of Home Care
n
TCI or trauma informed training
n
Ability to work as a part of a team and independently
Remuneration
n
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award.
