Personal Care Workers
to join our team in the
Hume region
.

This is a
permanent part-time opportunity with a minimum of 20 guaranteed hours per fortnight
, providing greater income certainty while still offering flexibility across your working week.
n
As a Community Personal Care Worker with Benetas, you will provide one-on-one support to older people in their own homes, helping them remain independent, connected and living life on their terms.
n
No two days are quite the same. You may be supporting someone with personal care, assisting with everyday tasks at home, or helping a client stay connected with their community and the activities that are important to them.
n
The role
n
You will:
n
n
Provide respectful, person-centred care in clients' homes
n
Assist clients with personal care and daily activities according to their individual needs and choices
n
Support clients with domestic tasks where required
n
Help clients maintain independence, relationships and connection with their community
n




Work one-on-one with clients while being supported by an experienced local team
n
Travel between clients, generally around ***** minutes between services
n
n
About you
n
You will have:
n
n
Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services, Disability or a related qualification, or completion of first-year nursing studies
n
A genuine interest in supporting older people to live well and independently at home
n
The ability to work confidently and independently while also contributing to a team
n
A current driver licence, reliable vehicle and appropriate car insurance
n
NDIS Clearance, First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain these
n
A respectful and inclusive approach to people from all backgrounds
n
