$50 per hour | Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday

We're currently looking for an experienced
Maintenance Fitter
to join an established plastic extrusion manufacturing business in Melbourne's west.
n
This is a full-time opportunity working across production and extrusion equipment, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, breakdowns and keeping machinery running reliably.
The Role n
n
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across plastic extrusion equipment
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns
n
Carry out mechanical repairs, adjustments and machinery improvements
n
Assist with planned maintenance and minimise production downtime
n
Work closely with production to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
n
About You n
n
Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter
n
Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding and breakdown experience
n
Experience with production or extrusion machinery highly regarded
n
Good understanding of preventative maintenance
n
Strong safety focus and ability to work independently
n
