Search are supporting the recruitment of a Payroll Officer in Stirling on a part-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional seeking a adaptable part-time role within a supportive and established team.

You'll play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, efficiently and in line with current legislation, while acting as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers across the business.
Your responsibilities will include: n
n
Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines
n
Managing starters, leavers and contractual changes
n
Checking payroll data and resolving discrepancies
n
Processing statutory payments, deductions and pension contributions
n
Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records
n
Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
n
Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements
n
Ensuring payroll activities comply with legislation and internal procedures
n
Providing general payroll administration and support to the wider team
n




Skills and experience that will benefit your application: n
n
Previous payroll experience, ideally processing weekly and monthly payrolls
n
Demonstrable understanding of HMRC requirements, statutory deductions and pension administration
n
Experience carrying out payroll reconciliations and maintaining controls
n
Interpersonal skills with the ability to manage payroll queries professionally
n
Comfortable using payroll and HR systems
n
Payroll qualification or equivalent payroll experience beneficial
n

Salary of circa £37,000-£40,000 FTE (pro-rated to ***** hours)
