Job Description
As a Maintenance Officer at Menarock LIFE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our aged care facility in Moama NSW. This full-time position is responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and handyperson duties to maintain the facility's buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing n
Performing general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
n
Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on the facility's equipment and systems
n
Identifying and addressing any maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
n
Coordinating with external contractors and service providers as needed
n
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenditures
n
Ensuring the facility's compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
n
Providing exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors
What we're looking for n
Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience in maintenance and handyperson services
n
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector
n
Solid problem-solving and decision‐making skills, with the ability to work independently
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‐focused approach
n




Proficient in the use of tools, equipment, and maintenance‐related software
n
Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace
n
Commitment to providing high‐quality service and maintaining a safe, well‐maintained facility
