About the Role n
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across a diverse range of industries. You'll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship building through to proposal submission and closing deals.

You'll work closely with our local operations teams to deliver outstanding solutions for customers while building a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up
n
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers
n
Conduct site visits and customer meetings across the Canberra region
n
Prepare and present proposals and service solutions
n
Manage your sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records
n
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
n
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
n




Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity
n
What's Looking For n
n
Proven experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Account Management, or a similar sales-focused role
n
Robust communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
n
A proactive, self-motivated approach and a genuine passion for sales
n
Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
n
Strong organisational and time management skills
n
Current Australian Driver Licence
n
Highly Regarded n
n
Experience in pest control, hygiene services, facilities management, property services, waste management, cleaning services, trades, or other service-based industries
n
Experience selling to commercial customers
n

$70,000 - $80,000 + Super + Uncapped Commissions (
OTE $110,000+
) depending on experience.
