Montessori International College (MIC) is seeking an exceptional, qualified Spanish Specialist Teacher to design and lead our Spanish language program. The position is a 0.8FTE role commencing in January, ****.

Set on 22 hectares of natural bushland on the Sunshine Coast, MIC offers a vibrant, child-centered educational environment. This role is responsible for delivering engaging, authentic Spanish learning experiences that inspire curiosity and cultural appreciation across our primary and secondary learning communities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently develop and implement an immersive Spanish language curriculum.
n
Create tailored learning experiences for multi-age and multi-ability student groups.
n
Monitor, record, and report on student progress while offering constructive feedback.
n
Embed interactive language resources and contemporary technology into learning programs.
n
Collaborate with classroom Guides and actively participate in College life and cultural events.
n
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
n
n
Relevant Tertiary Teaching Degree.
n




Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration.
n
High level of Spanish language proficiency.
n
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-age learning environments.
n
Excellent interpersonal skills and solid emotional intelligence.
n
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to acquire).
n
Alignment with or keen interest in the Montessori philosophy.
