About the Opportunity n
Randstad's client is seeking a motivated, customer-focused
Sales Representative
to join their team. This role combines outbound business development with consultative solution-selling. You will actively prospect new opportunities while scoping requirements to deliver tailored product solutions to clients in the building and construction industries.
Key Responsibilities n

Business Development & Prospecting:
Perform market research and execute outbound cold calls and email campaigns to generate new leads and expand client coverage.

Consultative Solution Selling:
Scope customer needs, match best-fit products to project requirements, and deliver accurate pricing and quotes via phone and email.
n

Relationship & Account Management:
Provide high-calibre customer service to nurture repeat business, managing the end-to-end client journey.
n
n
Sales Targets:
Work strategically to meet and exceed monthly revenue and activity-based KPIs as a core Sales Representative.
n
n
Database Management:




Keep the CRM meticulously updated with call notes, customer details, lead stages, and account activity.

About You n

Sales & Resilience:
A background in sales, cold calling, or proactive phone-based account management with a resilient, target-driven mindset.
n
n
Exceptional Communication:
Top-tier verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport and deliver outstanding customer service.
n
n
Industry Knowledge (Bonus):
Prior experience selling into construction, building supplies, trades, or industrial sectors is advantageous, though
not essential
.

Trainable & Eager:
Comprehensive product and industry training will be provided.

Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable navigating CRM software, email platforms, and internal databases.
