About the role
The Greater Geelong and Borough of Queenscliff (GGQ) Mental Health and Wellbeing Local is a consortium of Barwon Health, Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative, Wellways Australia and ermha365. Built on the Royal Commission's vision, it offers accessible, integrated support that starts with a simple question: "Welcome, how can we help?"
With Department of Health funding, the Local is expanding into the bushfire-affected Colac Otway region. As Senior Clinician, you'll deliver assessment and evidence-informed therapy while supervising and supporting the clinical team, and working closely with local partners including Colac Area Health, Colac Otway Shire and the CFA.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver recovery-oriented assessment and interventions for consumers and families
Provide clinical supervision and lead the professional development of the team
Drive quality improvement, KPI reporting and accreditation activities for the service
What We Are Looking For
An experienced senior clinician with advanced therapeutic skills and a passion for leading recovery-oriented, trauma-informed community care. Experience in disaster recovery or brief intervention is highly regarded.
Qualifications in psychiatric nursing, OT, social work or psychology (clinical or forensic endorsement), with AHPRA registration (or AASW eligibility)
Advanced skills in treating co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns




Experience providing clinical supervision, and a current Victorian driver's licence
