We're now looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team and help us continue that momentum.

As a Senior Estimator at Hindmarsh, you'll lead the pricing and cost planning of major tenders and ECI opportunities across a diverse national project pipeline. You'll work collaboratively with our construction and leadership teams to develop competitive, commercially sound bids that give us the best opportunity to win the right work.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading the pricing and cost planning of major tenders and ECI opportunities
- Developing accurate, competitive and commercially considered tender submissions
- Driving value management and identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes
- Working closely with construction teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to develop robust bids
- Providing cost advice throughout design development and helping align design outcomes with project budgets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and the wider supply chain
- Contributing to tender strategy and supporting the business to identify and secure new opportunities




- Mentoring and supporting Estimators, Cadets and developing members of the team
- Contributing ideas that make our estimating and tendering processes better
- Supporting the continued development of estimating systems, processes, libraries and technology

We are looking for someone who has:

- Significant estimating experience within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor
- Experience pricing and cost planning major construction projects, including projects valued at $50M+
- Experience across a range of procurement models including Lump Sum, D&C; and ECI
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology and the ability to identify value and risk within a tender
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills
- Experience using CostX, EstimateOne, Bluebeam or similar estimating and construction software
- A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in sharing knowledge and developing others
- A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
