Drill Fitter – FIFO 2:1

FIFO 2:1 | Production Mining | Caterpillar 650 & 640 | $80–$85 PH

We are currently seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join a production mining operation on a FIFO 2:1 roster.

This role is suited to a highly skilled tradesperson with extensive experience working on large production drill rigs, with solid mechanical and hydraulic capabilities.

Key requirements:

- Extensive experience working on Caterpillar 650 and 640 drill rigs

- Proven experience completing full machine rebuilds

- Extensive component overhaul and repair experience

- Experience with drill rig upgrades and life extension solutions

- Experience across major drill rig brands

- Specialist hydraulic diagnostics and fault finding

- Hydraulic hose manufacture and repairs

- Hydraulic component repairs and overhauls





- Hydraulic system troubleshooting

- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing maintenance team

- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
