A role with real responsibility where you'll be joining a well-established specialist firm in mortgage lending, working full time from their Brisbane CBD office. You'll manage your own files from start to finish, with the systems and structure to do it well.
It's a busy desk that is perfect for an individual who likes momentum. You'll be dealing with clients, solicitors and funders every day, trusted to keep each matter moving and each settlement on time.
A Typical Day
- Arranging settlements, both paper & PEXA
- Preparing mortgage documentation from client instructions
- Reviewing signed documents & supporting requirements
- Preparing lender certifications, settlement instructions & accounts paperwork
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, funders & third parties
- Finalising registration & returning security documents to trustees on time
Your Background
At least 1–2 years' experience as a Paralegal in Banking or Conveyancing is essential,
with experience running files from start to finish also required. You're precise, organised and comfortable working within set processes. A busy, demanding workload is nothing new to you, and you keep several things moving without missing a deadline.
You'll also be great with clients, a clear communicator in writing and in person, and a flexible, proactive member of the team.
