Church Drummer

Dominion City Church Australia is seeking a committed and skilled drummer to support worship services and church events. The drummer will work with the worship leader and music team to help create an uplifting, engaging and spiritually focused worship experience.

Responsibilities

- Provide rhythmic support for worship songs, hymns and special music.
- Attend rehearsals and prepare songs in advance.
- Follow the worship leader’s direction and adapt to changes in tempo, style and service flow.
- Coordinate with the pianist, singers and other musicians.
- Set up, pack down and care for the church’s drum equipment.
- Support services, prayer meetings and special events as scheduled.

Requirements

- Confident drumming skills and demonstrated experience playing with a live music group.
- Familiarity with gospel and contemporary worship music styles and structures.
- Excellent timing, listening skills,



and the ability to follow musical direction and adapt to service flow.
- Reliable attendance at all scheduled rehearsals, prayer meetings, and services.
- A humble, respectful and team-focused attitude.
- Previous church worship experience is desirable.
- Ability to set up, maintain, and pack down drum equipment efficiently.
