MAINTENANCE MANAGER – GOLDFIELDS – WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Located in the Goldfields, 750km from Perth, this busy property is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the venue.
Working independently and reporting directly to the onsite manager, this is a genuinely hands-on position. Your days will involve a broad mix of general repairs, preventative maintenance, fault finding and equipment troubleshooting, along with attending to the everyday maintenance needs that come with operating a busy regional property.
The property operates on town power with backup generators, and the role would suit an experienced all-rounder who is practical, resourceful and confident working autonomously. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn your hand to a variety of maintenance tasks will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:
- To manage the maintenance responsibilities for the property in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and there is effective preventative maintenance program in place.
- Have a friendly and courteous manner at all times when dealing with customers, contractors, fellow employees and management.
- Ensure the site is kept in a neat and well organised presentation at all times.
- Maintain all buildings and grounds.
- Ensure timely response to requests for services by management to include repairs or replacement of all interior fixtures and furnishings.
- Conduct continuing inspection of buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with the BCA, fire and life safety, recommend and/or take actions to ensure compliance.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area free of hazards.
- Maintain workshops and company tools.
- Any other duties as required by the General Manager.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a busy remote venue
- A current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one prior to commencement
- Seeking a long term commitment
- Ability to work independently without regular supervision
- Current forklift license (Preferred)
