About the Company
Our client is an optometry business with practices across Recent South Wales, and it is looking for a part time optometrist for its Singleton practice. It is a regional role where the time you spend with each patient counts, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position in the future.
About the Position
This part time Optometrist role covers Wednesdays and every second Saturday, so you know your schedule in advance and you have every other weekend to yourself. Eye tests run for 30 minutes, which gives you the time to examine thoroughly and explain results clearly instead of rushing the patient through. There is also an opportunity to move into a permanent Optometrist role in Singleton in the future, which suits an optometrist who wants to start part time and build a longer term position.
Key Requirements

- Current general registration as an optometrist with AHPRA (Optometry Board of Australia)

- Available to work Wednesdays and every second Saturday
- Confidence performing eye tests in 30 minute appointments

About the Location
Singleton is in the Hunter Valley, in wine country and an easy drive from Newcastle. You get regional living with space and a slower pace than the city, and the part time days leave you free to enjoy it.
On Offer
Our client offers:

- Part time hours on Wednesdays and every second Saturday, so your other days stay free
- 30 minute eye tests, so you can examine thoroughly and explain results
- An opportunity to move into a permanent role in Singleton in the future
- Remuneration discussed with you when you enquire
