About the Company
Our client is an optometry business with practices across Recent South Wales, and it is looking for a part time optometrist for its Figtree practice. It is a role where the time you spend with each patient counts.
About the Position
This part time Optometrist role covers two days a week, one weekday and one weekend day, so you know your schedule in advance and the rest of your week stays your own. Eye tests run for 30 minutes, which gives you the time to examine thoroughly and explain results clearly instead of rushing the patient through. It suits an optometrist who wants steady part time days that fit around other work or commitments.
Key Requirements

- Current general registration as an optometrist with AHPRA (Optometry Board of Australia)
- Available to work one weekday and one weekend day each week

- Confidence performing eye tests in 30 minute appointments

About the Location
Figtree is a suburb of Wollongong in the Illawarra, with the coast on one side and the escarpment on the other. Sydney is within driving distance, and the part time days leave you time to enjoy the beaches and bush.
On Offer
Our client offers:

- Part time hours, one weekday and one weekend day each week, so your other days stay free
- 30 minute eye tests, so you can examine thoroughly and explain results
- Remuneration discussed with you when you enquire
