About the Role
As a Locum Consultant Anaesthetist you will take on placements at hospitals across the region, working with new teams and caseloads. Because the work is locum, you choose placements around your life and can take time between them to recover. Travel and accommodation are provided, so the logistics are sorted before you arrive.
Key Requirements
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- Current specialist registration with AHPRA
- Current medical indemnity insurance
- Full working rights in Australia
About the Location
The Hunter region sits on the New South Wales coast, a couple of hours' drive north of Sydney. With beaches, national parks and the Hunter Valley wine region close by,
your time between placements can be spent outdoors or simply resting. Newcastle gives you the amenities of a major regional city, so everything you need is close to hand.
