About the Role:

We are seeking a Psychiatry Registrar for a short locum placement covering night shifts in Glenside, Adelaide SA. This contract runs from 13 to 14 October 2026. You will work within South Australia's largest tertiary health network, which offers exposure to some of the most complex and diverse clinical presentations in the state, supported by advanced facilities and highly experienced multidisciplinary teams.

- Provide after-hours psychiatric assessment and management of acute and complex presentations
- Respond to mental health reviews and escalations overnight
- Contribute to risk assessment, treatment planning and clinical handover
- Collaborate with senior medical staff, nursing and allied health teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

About You:

- AHPRA registered Medical Practitioner
- Currently practising at Registrar level in Psychiatry
- Confident managing acute presentations independently overnight
- Works effectively both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Available for the full contract period
- Eligible to work in Australia
