About the opportunity
We are partnering with an organisation undertaking a significant HR systems transformation to appoint an experienced Learning Advisor for an initial six-month contract, with potential to extend.
Supporting the implementation of Dayforce, you will define the training approach and put it into practice, helping approximately 1,500 employees learn to use the new system. This is not a role where you develop a strategy and hand it over. You will personally facilitate training, support users and provide the follow-up needed to help them build confidence.
You will join a collaborative program team with change, project and testing expertise, in an environment that welcomes fresh ideas and practical approaches.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Developing and implementing the learning approach:
Define a practical training strategy for the rollout and take ownership of delivering it, from the initial approach through to end-user training and follow-up support.
- Personally delivering training:
Facilitate sessions yourself, explain unfamiliar processes clearly and help employees become comfortable using the new system.
- Supporting a diverse, operational workforce:
Adapt your approach for frontline and operational employees with varying levels of technical confidence, including people for whom English is not their first language.
- Trying new approaches and adapting as you go:
Bring ideas, pilot different ways of supporting learning and adjust your approach where needed. The organisation is looking for someone who can contribute expertise while remaining comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-moving delivery environment.
What you’ll bring
You will have experience delivering learning or training within a large organisation undergoing significant change, together with the facilitation skills to engage a diverse audience.
Your background could be in learning and development, systems training or change advisory, provided you have personally delivered training rather than solely developed strategies or coordinated others.
Previous Dayforce experience would be highly regarded, but it is not essential. Relevant experience supporting learning through a large-scale change environment will also be considered. Above all, you will be someone who combines planning with practical delivery, takes initiative and is willing to adapt.
The team and working arrangements The team values collaboration, diversity and a willingness to try new things. You will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in an environment that is open to different approaches.
This is a Perth-based opportunity, and you must be based in Western Australia. Hybrid working and a nine-day fortnight are open for discussion, although the position cannot be performed fully remotely. An office move to the Perth CBD is planned, with a target start date towards the end of October 2026.
