Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Work Package Delivery Manager to lead complex civil infrastructure work packages from client-side development and procurement through to Alliance award, mobilisation and delivery.
Working within a major civil infrastructure program operating under a Progressive Alliance Agreement (PAA), you will provide a critical integrating function across technical, operational, commercial, property, stakeholder and assurance requirements.
You will act as a key interface between Technical Advisors, engineering and technology requirements and Alliance Partners, facilitating evidence-based decisions and resolving competing priorities while protecting safety, operability, maintainability and technical integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead work packages through planning, investigations, requirements definition, procurement support and transition to delivery.
- Develop package strategies aligned with program objectives, procurement milestones and Alliance readiness.
- Integrate operational, technical, commercial, environmental, property, stakeholder and assurance requirements.
- Establish clear scope boundaries, interfaces, assumptions, dependencies and decision rights.
- Drive resolution of interfaces across utilities, property, precincts, stakeholders and third parties.
- Facilitate timely, evidence-based decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain package governance across risks, issues, changes, dependencies and key decisions.
- Support PAA procurement,
interactive tendering, evaluation and clarification activities.
- Lead transition planning to ensure package knowledge, relationships, risks and decisions transfer effectively into Alliance mobilisation.
- Maintain clear and auditable documentation of key requirements, commitments and decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience leading complex infrastructure work packages within multidisciplinary project environments.
- Strong understanding of engineering governance, operational integration, procurement and delivery assurance.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across organisational boundaries and competing accountabilities.
- Highly developed facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and ideally experience within Alliance, collaborative or relational contracting environments.
- Strong judgement and the ability to provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- A team-oriented, Best-for-Project approach to infrastructure delivery.
- Commitment to safety, technical integrity, customer outcomes and whole-of-life value.
