Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced APS5 Investigations and APS6 Senior Regulatory and Compliance Officer to join their busy team on a Non-Ongoing APS contract (Fixed Term Contract) for 1 year. About the role
- Check financial to ensure information is correct and complies with legislative requirements
- Assess and review claims, utilising compliance assessments in line with legislation
- Oversee and coordinate accurate processing of funding and payments
- Data and information collection, identifying and investigating non-compliance, and any associated risks
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to the team required.
About you
- You will ideally have formal qualifications or experience working in accounting, commerce, finance or related industries or fields
- You will have previous experience in supporting or leading financial or assurance audits
- You will have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and data
- You will have solid communication skills - both written and verbal, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- You will be self-motivated, and have strong organisational and time management skills
- You will ideally have leadership or staff supervision experience.
- You will have a current/active Federal Government Baseline Clearance.
