The Opportunity
Davies Stewart is partnering with a leading civil contracting client based in Adelaide, South Australia. Known for delivering complex civil infrastructure projects across the region, our client specialises in land subdivisions, road and utilities construction, bulk earthworks, stormwater systems, water infrastructure, and power infrastructure developments.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their agile leadership team. This is a key permanent full-time role, offering a fantastic employment opportunity for a driven candidate looking to make an impact on major infrastructure projects across metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage complex civil works including subdivisions, road construction, bulk earthworks, stormwater, and essential utilities/power infrastructure.
- Oversee financial performance, project budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and subcontractor management.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities, and internal site teams.
- Drive adherence to stringent quality assurance, environmental, and OHS management standards across all project stages.




- Mentor and guide project engineering and site management personnel to support team growth and capability.

About You

To thrive in this permanent employment opportunity, you will bring extensive industry expertise and strong leadership capabilities:

- Extensive proven experience as a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager within the civil engineering industry.
- Demonstrated success in delivering subdivision, bulk earthworks, road construction and infrastructure projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Exceptional financial acumen, contract negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes.
