Direct Care Resources is seeking an organised and dependable Care Operations Administration Officer to support our Care Operations team. You will help keep time-critical documentation, compliance records, reporting obligations and routine administrative processes accurate, current and moving forward.
This role suits an experienced administrator who is comfortable managing competing priorities, following up actions and handling sensitive information with care. Your work will help operational teams stay organised and support quality outcomes for the people we serve.

About the role
Reporting to the General Manager - Operations, you will provide administrative and compliance support across Care Operations. You will coordinate recurring and time-sensitive tasks, maintain accurate records across systems and follow up key actions to ensure required processes are completed within agreed timeframes.
The role is based in Murarrie and works 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Regular travel to DCR sites across South East Queensland is required for inspections, audits and related activities.
What you'll be doing
- Process and distribute incident reports, checking that documentation is complete,
correctly filed and shared within required timeframes.
- Track 5-day reporting obligations and follow up relevant staff to support timely completion.
- Maintain records relating to unauthorised restrictive practices, supervision and other compliance activities.
- Coordinate monthly Restrictive Practice reporting to the NDIS Commission.
- Monitor QCAT orders, guardian consents, Positive Behaviour Support Plans, care plans, NDIS plan reviews and Change of Circumstances assessments, including expiry and review dates.
- Support Child Safety - Safe Organisations processes and maintain required records.
- Prepare meeting minutes, maintain action registers and follow up outstanding actions as directed.
- Complete data entry, document management and record keeping across SharePoint, registers and trackers.
- Prepare, print, compile and laminate documents and resources required for service delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and provide responsive day-to-day administrative support to Care Operations.
What we're looking for
- At least three years' experience providing administration or operational support in a busy environment.
- Strong organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities and strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail and confidence maintaining sensitive, time-critical records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn current systems and technologies.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- A relevant qualification in administration, business or community services, or willingness to obtain one.
Highly regarded
- Knowledge of quality, compliance or administrative processes within Child Protection, Disability Services or community services.
- Experience using SharePoint, compliance registers, trackers or document-management systems.
Mandatory clearances
You must hold, or be willing to obtain and maintain:
- A current Blue Card for child-related employment.
- LCS2 clearance.
- A current Disability Worker Screening Clearance.
