Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Male Support Worker to join our team in Ellenbrook, Western Australia. This casual role is essential in providing support to a participant dealing with Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) issues and mental health challenges. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our participant, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need in a compassionate and respectful manner.

Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one support to clients with AOD and mental health issues.
- Assist clients in daily living activities, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Facilitate group activities and workshops to encourage social interaction and skill development.




- Maintain a secure and supportive environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Engage with families and carers to provide updates and support as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a support worker role, particularly with AOD and mental health, is essential to this role.
- A relevant qualification in social care, mental health, or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
