HAYLO People are experts in General Insurance and Personal Injury Recruitment. Currently, we are seeking a Claims Executive specialising in Commercial Property to join a high performing insurance brokerage in Brisbane.

This opportunity is perfect for a dedicated claims professional who wants to advocate for clients rather than work on the insurer side. Working within a collaborative broking team, you will act as a client champion, managing end to end commercial property claims, driving fair outcomes, and navigating complex losses with a supportive group of professionals.

The role:

- Manage an end to end portfolio of commercial property claims from initial notification to final settlement.
- Advocate fiercely for clients, negotiating directly with insurers, assessors, and loss adjusters to achieve optimal claim outcomes.




- Provide expert guidance and clear communication to policyholders throughout the claims life cycle, particularly during major loss scenarios.
- Assist with strata property claims and support response efforts during CAT events.
- Maintain solid working relationships with internal broking teams to ensure seamless client service.

About you:

- Proven experience managing commercial property claims within an insurance brokerage, insurer, or third party administrator (TPA).
- Strong client advocacy mindset with a passion for delivering positive outcomes for policyholders.
- Solid technical understanding of general commercial property insurance policies, terms, and claims processes.
- Strata claims experience and CAT event handling knowledge are highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and dispute resolution skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
