As our business grows, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support the successful commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Contract Lead, the Contracts Administrator plays a key role in supporting project delivery through effective contract administration, commercial management and stakeholder engagement.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Project Controls and key stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance, manage project documentation, monitor commercial performance, and assist with claims, variations and risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

- Support the Contract Lead and Project team with contract administration activities across multiple projects

- Prepare and manage contract documentation, subcontract agreements and supplier contracts

- Assist with progress claims, invoicing, variations and extension of time (EOT) claims

- Maintain accurate contract registers and project documentation

- Monitor project costs, forecasts and commercial performance

- Support subcontractor and supplier procurement processes





- Review technical and commercial queries to identify potential contract and variation claims

- Assist with commercial negotiations and dispute resolution processes

- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies and statutory requirements

- Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies

- Prepare reports and provide commercial insights to project and senior management

- Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Commercial Management, Law, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Experience

- Minimum 3 years' experience in Contracts Administration, Commercial Management or a similar role

- Experience working within engineering, construction, telecommunications or related project environments

- Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial management processes

- Experience managing progress claims, invoicing and contract variations

- Exposure to procurement processes and contract management systems

- Sound understanding of contract compliance, legislation and industry standards

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Effective negotiation,



communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to identify commercial risks and implement practical solutions

- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software

- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team workplace

Additional Requirements

- Australian working rights

- Current C-Class Driver's Licence

- Willingness to travel to project sites as required

- Commitment to confidentiality, integrity and ethical business practices
