Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

Parade Hotel Bunbury & Old Coast Road Brewery
Full-time | Perth CBD | South West venue visits

Great food, drinks, waterfront views and brewery experiences give us plenty of stories to tell. We’re looking for a creative, organised Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help turn those stories into content and campaigns that bring people through our doors.

Working across Parade Hotel Bunbury and Old Coast Road Brewery, you’ll combine hands-on photography, video and design with forward planning, digital marketing and close collaboration with our venue teams.

You’ll have room to contribute ideas, develop your skills and take increasing ownership, with training and ongoing management support.

The role

Based in our Perth CBD office, you’ll work closely with the Venue Managers and Group Executive Chef to plan and deliver marketing across both businesses.

You’ll take ideas from concept through approval, production, publication and review, keeping the marketing and social calendar organised and making sure campaigns have the information, assets and support they need.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Creating original content: Photograph and film food, drinks, venues, people and experiences. Turn that material into engaging posts, reels, advertising and promotional designs using Canva and Photoshop.

- Planning ahead: Maintain the marketing and content calendar across both venues, preparing for specials, events, seasonal promotions, functions and larger campaigns.

- Managing social media: Write copy, edit and schedule content, manage day-to-day channels and maintain an organised library of photography, video and brand assets.

- Coordinating with the venues:

Gather accurate details, pricing and approvals, organise content visits and give staff clear guidance when they’re helping capture material.

- Keeping each brand consistent: Create materials for websites, in-house screens, print, presentations and function packages, reflecting each venue’s identity.

- Running digital campaigns: Create boosted posts and paid social campaigns with management guidance, monitor results, refine audiences and report on what’s working.

- Maintaining our online presence and member communications: Update websites and business listings, check booking links, produce monthly newsletters and promote member offers, events and venue news.

- Building partnerships: Help develop relationships with community organisations, sporting clubs, tourism businesses and function organisers. Support partnership offers, sponsorship follow-up and initial function enquiries before handing them to the venue teams.

A key project will be helping plan and deliver the relaunch of Parade Hotel’s accommodation, bringing together photography, video, website content, social media and paid advertising.

About you

You enjoy creating content and have the organisation to turn valuable ideas into finished work. You’re comfortable asking questions, chasing details and keeping people informed.

You’ll bring:

- Practical photography, video and editing skills, with examples of content you’ve created.

- Confidence using AI, Canva and Photoshop.

- Confident management of multiple social media channels.

- Clear writing skills and a good eye for design, consistency and detail.

- The ability to plan ahead, manage competing deadlines and follow work through.

- A proactive, communicative approach to working with different teams.

- An interest in hospitality, food, drinks, events and customer experiences.

- Availability for planned overnight visits to the South West.

Experience with paid social advertising, newsletters and website updates would be valuable. Training will be provided in our planning, booking and marketing systems, including ChatGPT Work for ideas, planning and production support.

Location and travel

Your first full working week will be spent in the South West, getting to know both venues, meeting the teams and beginning to capture content. Accommodation, meals and petrol are covered for this orientation week.

After that, periodic three-night South West trips will be planned around photography, video and campaign requirements.

As you become familiar with the businesses, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day marketing, content and communications. Management will continue to provide strategic direction, approvals and support for larger campaigns and projects.

Apply

Send your résumé, a short introduction and examples of your photography, video, social media or design work. Tell us what interests you about the role and how you’d bring the two venues to life through their marketing.
