About the role

Something exciting is happening at Binna Burra Lodge – and we'd love you to be part of it.

With the opening of our new Lodge, accommodation and dining facilities, we're expanding our Food & Beverage team and looking for enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants who genuinely enjoy hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

This isn't just one style of service. Our team works across a diverse hospitality offering including café service, breakfast and lunch, à la carte dining, conferences, weddings, groups and special events.

Whether you're serving a morning coffee overlooking the rainforest, welcoming guests into our new dining facilities or helping deliver a special event, you'll be part of creating the warm and genuine hospitality Binna Burra is known for.

A range of casual and part-time opportunities are available.

What you'll be doing

1. Welcoming guests and providing friendly, professional and attentive service.

2. Taking food and beverage orders accurately and confidently.

3. Delivering food and beverages efficiently and to a high presentation standard.

4. Providing table service across café, restaurant and function environments.

5. Preparing and serving beverages in accordance with relevant requirements.

6. Assisting with conferences, weddings, groups and special events.

7. Setting up, clearing and resetting dining and event spaces.

8. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our venues.

9. Developing a good knowledge of our menus, local produce and beverage offering.

10. Working closely with the kitchen and wider hospitality team to provide a seamless guest experience.

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are naturally welcoming, enjoy working with guests and understand that great hospitality is about more than simply delivering food to a table.





You'll bring:

1. Previous Food & Beverage, restaurant, café or hospitality experience.

2. Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.

3. A friendly, positive and professional approach.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. The ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.

6. Excellent attention to detail and presentation.

7. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

8. A willingness to work across different styles of service and venues.

9. Availability across a flexible hospitality roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

10. Australian work rights.

A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate will be required for positions involving alcohol service.

For more than 90 years, Binna Burra has welcomed guests to experience the beauty, tranquillity and adventure of this remarkable part of Queensland.

As we enter an exciting new era with the opening of our new Lodge, we're continuing to build a hospitality team that shares our commitment to warm service, sustainability, quality food and memorable guest experiences.

Location & availability

Binna Burra is approximately 30 minutes' drive from Canungra and 45 minutes from Nerang.

Own reliable transport is essential. Free onsite parking is provided; however, staff accommodation is not available.

As a seven-day hospitality operation, applicants will need flexibility to work a range of shifts which may include mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
