This is a part-time, ongoing opportunity in a collaborative and high-performing team.

- Part time, ongoing position
- Salary range: $67,350 - $81,080 plus superannuation
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging, flexible hybrid work arrangement

About the role

The Client Contribution Officer is responsible for recovering client contributions and effecting settlement of legal creditor claims in a professional and timely manner.

This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

- VCE or post-secondary education.
- You must have the right to work in Australia (i.e., be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa).
- Experience in debt recovery and administration, specifically dealing with clients over the telephone.
- Knowledge of and/or experience in conveyancing procedures and transactions including mortgages, caveats and transfers (highly desirable).
- General accounting skills and experience in creditor administration, payments and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with people across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment with specific performance targets and tight deadlines.
- A knowledge of the general business of VLA and a commitment to our vision and values.
