About the Role

In this permanent full-time position, you will use your payroll expertise in a client-facing pre-sales capacity. You will engage with mid-market prospects, clearly explain how Martian Logic’s payroll and compliance strengths solve their challenges,



and help the sales team win new business.This role suits someone who enjoys speaking with people, building trust, and guiding organisations through important technology decisions.

What You Will Do

- Bring your payroll knowledge into pre-sales conversations and product demonstrations
- Translate complex payroll and compliance requirements into clear, compelling business cases
- Position Martian Logic’s Australian compliance capabilities (awards, STP, screening) as a key differentiator
- Partner closely with the sales team to progress opportunities
- Contribute specialist insights to proposals and client presentations

What We’re Looking For

- Solid payroll experience, ideally gained at a payroll provider, bureau, or software company
- Confidence explaining payroll and compliance concepts to HR and Finance decision-makers
- Enjoyment of client-facing, consultative conversations
- Interest in moving into SaaS / technology pre-sales
- Collaborative style and robust communication skills
- Understanding of Australian awards and Single Touch Payroll

What We Offer

- Base salary $130,000 – $160,000 + superannuation
- Attractive commission structure with OTE of $190,000 – $230,000
- 10 days paid personal/carer’s leave
- 2 weeks paid parental leave
