Operations Coordinator / Scheduler

Yatala, QLD | Full-Time | Cowan Restoration Group

Cowan Restoration Group is looking for an experienced and highly organised Operations Coordinator / Scheduler to join our Queensland team based in Yatala.

This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating our field teams, managing job schedules and helping ensure restoration works are delivered efficiently and our customers, clients and insurers are kept informed throughout the process.

We operate in a quick-paced environment where priorities can change quickly, so we're looking for someone who is organised, confident on the phone, comfortable managing multiple jobs at once and able to keep things moving when the pressure is on.

About the role

Working closely with our Queensland Operations team and Metro QLD State Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating and scheduling technicians across restoration jobs throughout Queensland

- Managing daily workloads, appointments and changing operational priorities

- Monitoring jobs from allocation through to completion and following up outstanding actions

- Communicating with insured customers, insurers, builders, assessors and other stakeholders

- Maintaining accurate job notes, documentation and updates within our internal systems and insurer portals

- Monitoring job progress against expected timeframes, costs and client KPIs

- Identifying delays, changes in scope or operational issues and escalating them where required

- Supporting technicians and operational staff with job information and scheduling requirements

- Assisting the wider operations team to continuously improve service delivery and efficiency

About you

We're looking for someone who is organised,



proactive and comfortable working in a busy operational environment.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, dispatch, operations or a similar service-based role

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Confidence dealing with customers and stakeholders by phone and email

- Strong computer and administrative skills

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- A calm, practical approach when priorities change or urgent jobs arise

Experience within insurance, restoration, building, trades, facilities management or another field-service environment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.

Previous water, fire or mould restoration experience and IICRC qualifications would also be advantageous.
