Trade Counter Sales & Customer Service Greater Western Sydney | $75K + Super
Join an Australian Fencing Manufacturer Our client is a well-established fencing manufacturer supplying quality products to the commercial, residential and education sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Trade Counter Sales & Customer Service person to join their existing team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys dealing directly with customers, particularly tradies and trade customers, and thrives in a small, friendly and close-knit team.
About the Role
- Face-to-face Trade Counter Sales and Customer Service
- Build strong relationships with trade customers
- Assist customers with product enquiries and orders
- Answer incoming phone enquiries
- Process orders and data entry
- Assist with general administration and computer-based tasks
- Pick and pack products as required
- Work closely with the warehouse and internal team to ensure customers receive great service
About You We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in Trade Counter Sales, Internal Sales or Customer Service
- Enjoys dealing with tradies and trade customers
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is confident answering product enquiries and taking orders
- Is computer literate with solid data entry skills
- Has experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Is reliable, organised and able to work well in a small team
- Is comfortable working in a hands-on environment
Experience within fencing, building supplies, hardware, construction, manufacturing or a similar trade environment will be highly regarded.
Physical Requirements This is a hands-on position and will involve:
- Standing for periods throughout the day
- Regular walking around the workplace
- Walking up and down stairs
- Picking and packing products
- Manual handling and lifting products up to approximately 15kg
