About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Assistance Parts Manager to join the team at Toowong Automotive Group Pty Ltd in Toowong, QLD. This is a full time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our parts department. The Assistance Parts Manager will work alongside the Parts Manager to ensure our inventory is well-managed, our customers receive excellent service, and our automotive dealership runs smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in parts management within the automotive industry whilst contributing to the success of our business.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with the management and organisation of automotive parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage

- Processing parts orders and managing supplier relationships to maintain consistent stock availability

- Supporting customer inquiries and providing assistance with parts identification and availability

- Maintaining accurate records of parts transactions, receipts and stock movements

- Assisting with the receipt and inspection of incoming parts deliveries

- Supporting the implementation of inventory control systems and procedures

- Contributing to the maintenance of a clean, organised and safe parts department environment

- Assisting with pricing and cataloguing of parts as required

- Supporting the Parts Manager with administrative duties and general departmental operations

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a parts department, automotive environment or similar inventory-focused role

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Good communication skills and a customer-service focused approach

- Proficiency with computer systems and experience with parts management software is advantageous





- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology, or willingness to learn

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst maintaining initiative and independence

- Physical capability to handle, lift and organise automotive parts safely

- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality service and support

- Relevant qualifications in automotive parts or inventory management are preferred but not essential
