We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Optical Assistant and / or qualified Optical Dispenser. Whether you are meeting and greeting customers, providing advice on our products or placing specialised orders you will be constantly busy as no two days are the same at Specsavers. This exciting role will see you become a vital part of our store team. You will provide excellent customer service to our customers on our range of fashionable frames, guide those who are trying contact lenses for the first time along with assisting Optometrists and Optical Dispensers in providing genuine care to our customers. In return we will provide you with a supportive team environment and develop you to be the best you can be.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service through dispensing glasses,



building rapport and adopting good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers.

Accurately perform any administrative tasks as required.

Follow and strive to achieve our store's clinical goals on a daily, monthly and yearly basis to drive clinical productivity.

Work closely with our Optometry professionals and team to ensure each customer experience is consistent and delivered to an excellent standard.

Consistently support other team members. Be a role model and champion the service culture, behaviours and values which Specsavers stands for.

Perform any other reasonable duties as may be reasonably requested by a manager.

Our team have a passion for providing excellent customer service. Team members need to have an interest in optics and retail and maintain a high standard of personal presentation. The team needs to be punctual, reliable and thrive in working well under pressure. Due to our retail environment, team members must have the flexibility to work retail hours which will include late nights and weekends.
