As a Procurement Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting procurement activities across the organisation, ensuring value for money, probity, compliance, and strong supplier relationships. Opportunities may vary in scope, but typically involve end-to-end procurement, contract administration, sourcing support, and stakeholder engagement.

Your recent role

- Managing procurement and sourcing activities in line with organisational policies and procedures

- Preparing RFQs, RFTs and tender documentation

- Supporting tender evaluations and supplier selection processes

- Assisting with contract administration, renewals and variations

- Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

- Supporting supplier performance and contract compliance activities

- Maintaining accurate procurement records and reporting

- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings





What you'll need to succeed

- Experience in procurement, purchasing, contracts or supply chain functions

- Exposure to sourcing, tendering and supplier management activities

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- High attention to detail and strong administration skills

- Experience working within governance and compliance frameworks

Desirable

Public sector or local government experience
Exposure to contract management activities
Procurement-related qualifications or ongoing study
Experience using procurement or ERP systems such as SAP, TechnologyOne, Oracle, Pronto or similar
