RH Industries is seeking an energetic and reliable individual to join our team at our Archerfield yard in a combined Cashier and Weighbridge Operator role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast‑paced environment, has strong customer service skills, and is confident working across both administrative and cash handling tasks.
Hours are Mon–Fri, 7am–4pm
Role Includes
- Cash‑handling duties and processing customer payments
- Assisting customers at the counter and completing customer‑facing tasks
- Operating the weighbridge for incoming and outgoing scrap metal loads
- Accurately recording weights, materials, and customer details
- Responding to phone and email enquiries
- Liaising with yard staff to ensure smooth flow of vehicles and customers
- General administrative duties as required
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous cash‑handling experience preferred but not essential
- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Competent computer skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
