About the role

We are seeking a Branch Assistant Driver to join our Wagga Wagga NSW team on a full-time basis. This is a dynamic role that combines customer service excellence with delivery responsibilities. You will be the face of Tradelink in our community, supporting our branch operations and ensuring our customers receive their products efficiently and professionally. This position is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner

- Delivering building and plumbing products to customers across the local area, ensuring timely and professional service

- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering product enquiries and offering advice where appropriate

- Supporting branch staff with stock management, including receiving, checking and organising inventory

- Maintaining accurate delivery records and customer information

- Ensuring all vehicles are kept clean, well-maintained and roadworthy

- Following all health and safety procedures and compliance requirements





- Assisting with general branch duties as required to support team operations

What we're looking for

- A current, valid driver's MR licence with a clean driving record and forklift licence

- Experience in a customer-facing retail or delivery role is advantageous

- Strong physical capability to safely handle and load materials

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members

- Reliable, punctual and committed to providing quality customer service

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Basic organisational and time management skills

- A willingness to learn about building and plumbing products

- Full Working Rights in Australia
