WILS Restoration & Cleaning Services is seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our growing Restoration Division.

We specialize in the restoration and reinstatement of residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mould and other damage. Our projects involve detailed assessment, restoration, repair and rebuilding works to return affected properties to a protected and functional condition.

As part of our expansion plan, we are growing our Restoration Division and are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team and support the increasing demand for restoration, repair, and rebuilding works, together with our broader building services.

Key Responsibilities

· Review building plans, drawings, and job specifications to determine the materials, measurements and construction requirements for each project.

· Measure, mark, cut, and shape timber, plywood, wallboard and other materials using appropriate hand and power tools.

· Construct and install timber framing for walls, floors, roofs, partitions, and other structural components.

· Install and repair flooring, wall linings, paneling, doors, skirtings, architraves, windows, frames, and other building fixtures.

· Repair, replace, and rebuild damaged timber structures and building components affected by water, fire, mould and other property damage.

· Assemble and secure timber components using appropriate nails, screws, bolts, brackets,



and other fixing methods to achieve structurally sound installations.

· Construct and install external timber elements, including cladding, fascia, and other associated building components as required.

· Carry out carpentry and reinstatement works in coordination with other technicians to ensure restoration projects are completed efficiently and to the required standard.

· Inspect completed carpentry works for accurate measurements, alignment, fit and finish, and rectify any defects or issues identified.

About You

You will ideally have:

· At least a Certificate III in Carpentry or a relevant trade qualification.

· Experience in carpentry, building construction, repair, or renovation works.

· Ability to read and interpret building plans, drawings and job specifications.

· Strong skills in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling building materials.

· Sound knowledge of carpentry techniques, building materials, and construction methods.

· Strong attention to detail and workmanship.

· Ability to work safely and effectively with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
