The Scented Garden in Croydon Hills is looking for an experienced full time barista to join our team. This is a Monday to Friday role with early starts from 6am; no weekend work. We are a fast-paced, high-volume site. Our coffee is made on Eversys super-automatic espresso machines, so you will be working with consistent, high-output equipment rather than a traditional manual setup. Training on the Eversys system will be provided; experience with automatic or super-automatic machines is an advantage but not essential.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to a consistent standard
- Taking orders, processing payments and handling cash, including till counts and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Conducting regular stock audits and placing orders with suppliers
- Running food and products to customers
- Clearing and wiping down tables
- Cleaning and maintaining the coffee station,



equipment and front-of-house areas, including daily machine cleaning routines
- Opening the site and preparing for the morning trade
- General duties as required to keep the site running smoothly

About you

- Previous barista experience in a busy café or hospitality setting
- Reliable and punctual; able to start at 6am each weekday
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Confident handling cash and using a POS system
- Organised, with an eye for stock levels and cleanliness
- Friendly and clear with customers and team members
- Current right to work in Australia
- Full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday
- Training on Eversys super-automatic espresso technology
