Moret Cleaning Contractors is a family run business which has been operating for approximately 40 years and are wishing to employ a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our company on a part-time basis ie. 3 hours Wednesday and Thursday evenings each week . This role is based in Noble Park, Victoria , and offers an excellent opportunity to become part of an organisation committed to maintaining clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, directly contributing to the comfort and wellbeing of everyone who uses our spaces. Please note that our existing staff are all long term employees mostly for over 10 years.

Key responsibilities

- Performing routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting of all areas within the facility
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors to maintain hygiene standards
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately and in accordance with environmental guidelines
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and reporting any maintenance issues or damage to management
- Using cleaning products and chemicals safely and responsibly, following all health and safety protocols
- Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a consistent standard and that cleaning schedules are followed
- Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and other consumables as needed




- Following established procedures and reporting any health and safety concerns immediately

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience working as a Cleaner or in a similar cleaning role within a commercial or institutional setting
- Solid attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness consistently
- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and work on your feet
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning methods, products, and equipment for different surfaces and areas
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to following workplace safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly approach to working with others
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and additional cleaning needs as they arise
- References, Drivers licence and Police Check required
